Everywhere You Turn, There is the Face of God

The Koran says: The East and the West belong to God: wherever you turn, there is His Face. He is all pervading and all knowing.

Which reminds me of a line from Westworld: They wanted a place hidden from God, where they could sin in peace.

Sin tempts all of us and there is no sin that you can actually get away with.

But “just trying not to,” doesn’t work so well, no matter what sin you’re referring to.

Instead, you need to learn from your temptations.

In therapy, we study them like dreams.

In every moment, “wherever you turn,” there is the opportunity to wonder.

What am I about right now? What am I doing? Why? Is there a message here from a deeper part of myself?
