What makes you come alive?

Vitality and Belonging are two core values in psychotherapy and especially in group work. In this workshop we explore several important factors in cultivating these qualities. First, we learn to listen to the inner sensory data of our bodies, an essential process in Somatic Experiencing, Focusing, and body-centered psychotherapy. We develop an ear for unconscious communication, whether it’s expressed non-verbally through movement and body language or as subtext in the content of what someone is saying. We practice bridging, the art and science of making meaningful connections among group members, and we gain an embodied experience of constructively working with aggression and sexuality in the clinical setting.

In addition to the weekend experience, the workshop fee includes two individual sessions with the facilitator, one prior to the weekend and one after.
